Abubakar Bobboi Jauro (OON) is an iconic Administrator and rural development professional with a wealth of experience covering decades in Nigeria. Abubakar Bobboi Jauro obtained a combined honours degree in Government and History from ABU Zaria and a Masters degree in Public Administration.

Abubakar Bobboi Jauro served in various capacities in several River Basin Development Authorities in Nigeria between 70s and 80s. He was the Executive Secretary of Lake Chad Basin Commission N’djamena Chad. He was also Director, Regional Economic Integration in Africa (Ministry Of Cooperation and Integration in Africa), and Permanent Secretary Federal Ministry of Environment.
